Papers, 1958-1992.

Largely contains material related to the public offices for which Cafferata has run and those to which she was elected, and papers related to her personal interests such as Doctors' Wives of Washoe County. Two issues evident in these papers are drunk driving legislation and hazardous waste disposal. Series I includes speeches, calendars, correspondence, subject files, scrapbooks, and administrative files from the Tresurer's office on investment of public funds. Series II contains campaign plans, mailing and donor lists, financial records, and sample ballots. Series III contains law school papers and files of the Doctors' Wives of Washoe County and her teaching career. Some speeches and clippings relate to her mother, Nevada Representative Barbara Vucanovich (R).
